London Restaurant Week: Booking Opens Today!

by Krista

I should seriously get paid for this…Book your table for London Restaurant Week on LastMinute.com starting today! (Actually, I’m just giving this post one last go-over Sunday evening, and London Restaurant Week booking is open now.)

There will be 150 restaurants participating.
10+ Michelin starred venues.
2 course lunches for £15
3 course dinners for £25
Restaurant week runs April 14th through the 28th.
This article about London Restaurant Week reports that Lindsay House, Babylon at the Roof Gardens, Almeida, Tamarind and Quilon are on the list of bookable restaurants.

Random Note: Today is the fourth anniversary of my arrival into the UK. Time flies…

Happy Brit-anniversary Krista. I’m in the UK for the first week of London Restaurant Week – you could always take me out to one of these restaurants for dinner.

I knew I should have gone to website staright away- Lindsey House now fully booked for dinner and I can’t do lunch M-F. Other than Corrigan, its not such a great deal- most of the restaurants are regulars on toptable, and a lot of the Inidan high end places that feature have great lunch deals anyway. Did you book anywhere?

Hi Trig! Would love to take you out to dinner, but I have family in town during LRW so hopefully e can catch up some other time.

Lestyn, yeah, I figured everything would go quickly. I want to do some comparisons to NY Restaurant week because it seems to me that the London options are very limited, schedule-wise.

I agree with Lestyn – am struggling to find anywhere that seems like a particularly good deal. Most places offer similar/better deals on toptable and the like, and even Lindsay House has a 3 course pre-theare menu as long as you leave by 8pm for £27 — only two quid more than the LRW deal.
