I just came back from New York last week as well, and ate at some of the best restaurants (5th time going, finally picked the right ones)

1st just off times square on 46th street (restaruants road) was Tramontie, delicious Italian restaurant. then there is the red Eye at the top of 7th which has some of the best steaks around. But my favourite has to be this small restaurant in East Village on 2nd St. called Supper. The most equisite pasta dishes, a simple mozarella tortalinie pasts turned into something out of heaven! Cant recommened it enough.
