hey Krista – as a melbournian, i can confirm the handwash is indeed Aesop – they have several stores around london (aesop.net.au)

LOL – I love it! I would love to have given you the name of the handwash… only when we were there on the last of the original soft opening nights (hahaha!), there was NO soap at the basin! There’s nothing like an unfamiliar restaurant bathroom to make you think it’s just hidden somewhere funky & therefore search for it for 10 mins… So my first bit of feedback for them was not to let the customers in until the bathrooms are fully stocked 😉 Itching to write up my evening but suppose i’d better not… yet.

Love it! Pretty much exactly what I thought you’d post. Let’s be honest, though. Some of those dishes I would have enjoyed sharing with you guys off plastic plates in the women’s loo. Looking forward to another visit when we can all take happy snaps and you guys can write about something more uplifting than toilet seats.

Seems Gourmet Traveller is already onto it, but was just going to tell you the handwash is Aesop (my favourite, especially the geranium one). It’s expensive but they sell it at Liberty (ask and you may receive lots of free samples). The moisturisers are nice too, and the massive soap bars. It’s a Melbourne brand, and thus my obsession as I stock up every time I go home. I could go on…
