Ciao Londonelicious (Krista?),
Sorry I've got nothing meaningful to say about The News Cafe or Miami Beach for that matter. But I just wanted to say it was a nice change of pace to actually find music recommendations on another food blog. Just downloaded Emiliana Torrini's "Fisherman's Woman" after seeing it on your page. Thanks!

Well, at least the meal made for an entertaining post, and you've warned potential suckers like me away. Thanks for taking one for the team, Krista.

Also, having spent the past three Christmases in PB, I think I know what you mean about the high number of overhyped, overpriced restos in south Florida. Our fam has started to eat in and cook a lot more often after being burned at several places similar to the News Cafe. It's the wealthy-people-on-holiday effect in the area, perhaps.
