I used your food blog to try to find other reviews in additon to yours, because I love hearing everyone’s feedback.

Did you see what RWApple (an american in london) had to say about The Marquess ?
In the comments on her review, they have a new owner and a new chef as of July this year, and the old delicious favorites on the menu are gone… (sad face)

Will now check out The Gunmaker’s Arms ! And then Hawksmoor…

These blogs are so helpful. I’d be lost without them 🙂

Brave Adventurer, for a good roast, I’d recommend two places:

The Marquess. In Islington. Review somewhere on my blog.

The Gunmakers Arms. In Clerkenwell. No review on my blog, but it’s run by a fellow blogger.

Filet mignon is an interesting one…for steak, my main suggestion would be Hawksmoor in Shoreditch. Review, again, somewhere on my blog!

And where would you go for the most excellent filet mignon in London ?
