					<description><![CDATA[So the cocktail bar is upstairs. We never made it up there. So I&#039;d definitely do that. And I did really dig the decor and the atmosphere. But I felt out of place and there were too many kinks. Plus, the food was just not the best ever.

					<description><![CDATA[I&#039;m pretty sure I&#039;ve left this comment on someone else&#039;s blog who wrote about Rules, but having recently re-read Graham Greene&#039;s &quot;The End of the Affair,&quot; I keep associating Rules with adultery (because the two main characters having an affair regularly meet at Rules).

In any case, in theory, I like the idea that Rules has been around for ages.  But in practice, I&#039;ve found that restaurants that have been around for decades upon decades are usually disappointing.  And now you&#039;ve confirmed my bias.

That was super nice of your friend John to pick up the tab, by the way.  Be sure to introduce me to him.
