Eaten of the hoof, a decent-sized snack/small meal comes in under a tenner. I’d never claim it was great (or even particularly good) sushi, but it fills a hole. Not (even) as good as the Itsu branch around the corner on Lower Regent, but cheaper and more variety.

The prices were excessive for the portions and the fish wasn’t even that good. The biggest disappointment, however, was the tempura. Never have I had to pay £12 for such s soggy, greasy mess.

I went to Tomoe the next day on your recommendation and loved it. Definitely won’t be going back to Japan Centre any time soon.
