It’s funny…I say it and then spell it for my American friends in London and they are all like, “Uh, isn’t there an X in there somewhere?” (Wahaca, if you didn’t know, is how you pronounce Oaxaca, the state/city in Mexico.) Reminds me about the time a client told me about this great club–Ah-goo-ah. And I was like, “Ah-goo-ah? Now that’s an interesting name?” And then the client explained that that’s Spanish for water. And then I was glad that I watched so much Sesame Street as a child. (Abierta! Cerrada!)

Still on the Mexican trail, have you been to the new Wahaca place in Covent Garden – not hearing fantastic things about it so far, but surely more Mexican restaurants can only be a good thing?
