Krista, let me know if you are going to Pink martini, I will be there ( but not with bells on!) They are fantastic in concert. Air is quite good as well, saw them at Somerset House.

Oh, now that's somewhere I have to check out. Sounds fabulous.

I have similar problems coercing friends to go to gigs and out for food. Andrew Bird is sure to be great but I am not sure that I can justify another gig this week, even though I really want to go. Deerhoof & Deerhunter last Friday, Devendra Banhart last night (fantastic), Chk Chk Chk tonight (they were so good last time I saw them I just couldn't miss). Only problem with Band of Horses is that they clash with Electrelane that night, argh, forced to choose!

My blog does suffer on good music weeks, but I think it's worth the sacrifice :-)

Nice post, Krista. Thanks for not mentioning I spilled my hibiscus drink over the table cloth and lowered the tone for everyone. :)

Anyone who hasn't had the pleasure of listening to those artists may not actually deserve them ;-)

I saw Arcade Fire a few months ago in Chicago. It was, hands down, one of the best shows I've ever been to.

Shropshire is next to Wales and may be unknown but is *beautiful* - all the more so, perhaps, precisely because it is unknown!

Hibiscus sounds great - though you will have seen the more mixed press reviews.

I don't think I could wait an hour for the food though.
Perhaps, if we go, we should order in advance?!
