The trip was 7 states in 7 days, a mystery tour of sorts, as I was the only one that knew each day where we were going and what we were doing. We started on Route 66 here in Chicago [Illinois], drove on to Springfield to see Lincoln’s home & tomb, then onto St.Louis [Missouri], and we continued from there to cover 5 other states [Tennessee, North Carolina, Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana]. Though I can’t be sure, as it’s been some time since I was in the United terminal at O’Hare. O’Hare is an ugly place though, so my guess is the ‘other’ Chicago airport.
