I just moved to London from Chicago. It’s great to get a sense of all the great food options here, with some nostalgia for home thrown in. I had to smile at the mention of the Viagra Triangle! Yeah, they didn't really rush us out, so we probably could have stayed. (But they did do the American thing and just bring us the check after we said no to dessert and coffee.) In all fairness, I did finish my steak and creamed spinach and fries and mashed potatoes totally within that hour.

Well, to be fair, we weren't really rushed. It was more like they were just TOO efficient!

They run that place with military efficiency. My bone in rib of beef at Gibsons is my benchmark. Nothing, apart from the Primehouse, has got close so far, as much as I’d like it to have done.

I love how they get that crispy, heavily seasoned char on the outside and yet the middle is still almost pulsing, but buttery.

I was quite alarmed by their comedy slices of cake though. But then again that just added to the experiences.
