In reply to <a href="https://www.passportdelicious.com/dean-street-townhouse-london/#comment-4756">Michael (londonstuff)</a>.

I stayed at The Paramount in NYC ages ago and remember waking up in the middle of the night and becoming claustrophobic, so tight was the space! But I would say in general...American hotel rooms with the big chains are HUGE, room-wise. Two queen-sized beds, generally.

Definitely hit Spuntino. So great!!

They really are. I stay in A LOT of hotels and really, this was the best, amenity-wise. I'm kinda digging the free mini bar that some hotels are offering now. Sofitel Stephansdom in Vienna, where I stayed for a night last month, has that, as did Hotel Le Palais in Prague, where I also stayed last month. Free juice, free wifi...that's all I need! (OK, and nice shampoo and conditioner.)

As someone who's stayed in the smallest hotel room ever in New York (think it was a W Hotel, but can't remember), it's quite funny to read that Americans think European rooms are small; have they never stayed in NYC!?

DST, unsurprisingly, looks similar to its sister club in Chiswick, High Road House, where I've never stayed but I've been in a few times, with the restaurant being awesome. Maybe I'll have to try the restaurant (I presume it's worth a visit) after I've got places like Spuntino, daPolpo and a second visit to Nopi off my radar. So many places to visit, so little time! :)

Keep on writing, it's always a good read and also makes me realise (again and again) how lucky I am living in London (not that I'm saying the other places you write about aren't good!)
