Creature of habit…

I’ve always been a bit addicted to Pret a Manger. I miss my old London standbys…the tomato soup, the mushroom risotto, the roasted tomato and egg baguette. The US menu is different, and the mushroom risotto doesn’t compare. That being said, the Vietnamese baguette kinda rocks. More often than not, it’s my go-to lunch option of choice. And while for dinner, I appreciate variety and rarely visit the same restaurant for dinner more than a few times, for lunch, I’m happy to eat the same thing, over and over and over again.

Laissez Fare 2011 -

I get nostalgic for PRET sometimes, and as there is one literally across the street from my office, every once in a while I drop in for a little treat (brownies are still pretty good), or the occasional sandwich/salad. They don’t use much mayo here, so definitely taste different than the UK versions.
