Because I am a Lame-Ass

by Krista

It’s a Friday night and I’m not in Madrid or Istanbul or anywhere else for that matter. I’m sitting in my flat catching up on the blogosphere, decompressing from three weeks of a bit too much fun, really. (And the cycle is about to repeat itself.)This gal has got to get some rest. So I’m going to do The Omnivore’s Hundred…a very clever traffic-building tactic if I do say so myself…

How it works…
1) Copy this list into your blog or journal, including these instructions.
2) Bold all the items you’ve eaten.
3) Cross out any items that you would never consider eating.
4) Optional extra: Post a comment at www.verygoodtaste.co.uk linking to your results

My results? I’ve eaten 77 of these…and about the only thing I wouldn’t touch is Fugu and a fat cigar. Together or separately.

Of the ones you’re missing, only umeboshi and fancy scotch are really worth going out of your way for, and most people probably will hate umeboshi at least on a first try.

I had prickly pear gelato not long ago, which was great because of the super magenta color, but the flavor is just kind of nondescript sweet fruit.

Gjetost and durian: both plain nasty, with durian by far the worse of the two. I like acquired tastes, but I’m not even hoping to acquire those.

I think you would have tried horse if u have ever had chorizo! Its usually high in horse content, and some supermarkets in the uk were in trouble about it a few years back. but if you ever have it in france/spain then you defo have!

Ugh I only managed 61 – I would however say that Black Pudding is awesome if its properly made, that and White Pudding – not from a greasy spoon but a proper breakfast place
