That’s $3.33 worth of cupcake from Magnolia Bakery. All they had left at 8 am this morning was vanilla with vanilla (mine), vanilla with chocolate, chocolate with chocolate, chocolate with vanilla, and red velvet with vanilla. No interesting flavors. And the queue was a stressful mess. (I did a lot of sighing and rolling my eyes. Sorry.)
I found the icing cloying. My mother’s is better. Maybe that’s nostalgia talking. But I feel pretty good about nostalgia. Cheaper too.
