Back from London…
Sometimes I do crazy things. Like decide to go to London for my birthday as long as Kate and Wills are getting married the day before and David Cameron (the Prime Minister, you know) is giving the whole country the day off.
So I went. And it was beautiful. That there above is looking south on Regent Street south of Oxford Circus. The Union Jack was everywhere, gorgeously so.
I couldn’t resist a bit of shopping while I was in town. I was also lucky enough to be the recipient of some mighty fine gifts for the umpteenth anniversary of my 20th birthday. Here’s what’s pictured, starting from the top left:

Ooo! I got the Cath Kidston towel for myself and the ‘It Should Have Been Me’ coffee mug for a royal-obsessed friend before leaving the UK for good. We also got a Dartington Crystal Will & Catherine beer mug as a going away present from the office.
