Turtle Green, Amman

Posted by Krista on May 12, 2010

I’ve found a little tea bar in Amman, on Rainbow Street. I probably would not have popped in if not for recognizing the place from Roba’s blog, so I’m glad I wrote down all her recommendations earlier today. (URL not handy at the moment, but Google “Roba blog Amman” and I’m sure you’ll find it. It’s a great blog about Amman with a dose of social media for good measure.)

Actually, a few of the places Roba mentioned are on Rainbow Street, which works out rather perfectly for me. Serendipity, this trip so far. (More about my pal Omar and our very excellent visit to Hashim, the falafel house, later.)

Turtle Green has free wi-fi (hence the moblogging), friendly servers and very chill music. I dig it. If you ever get to Amman, you will too.
