Maybe only the born-and-raised New Yorkers will appreciate this. As found on a Chinese take-out menu in South Florida. Who knew? Apparently, this is not an uncommon statement. There’s a whole thread on Chowhound about it.

I think we need to conduct a search for the most authentic New York Chinese in London. Right now we like The Gourmet Orient for delivery but it isn’t perfect. The spiciest Chinese I have enjoyed was right off of Oxford Street from a street vendor.
Anyone else have a suggestion?
