Happy Labo(u)r Day

If I were in the US today, I’d be enjoying the third day of a three-day weekend–the third of the summer! Or well, one of my 10 public holidays, as opposed to the measley eight we get in the UK. (Yes, yes, I know that the UK-government mandated minimum of 20 vacations days is a nice treat. But maybe you should read this article.)
Anyhow, in hono(u)r of the holiday, I wanted to bring you this video of my old buddy Josh, the editor of Grub Street, proselytizing on the the ins and outs of barbecueing. (Note: He actually made this for the 4th of July. But Grub Street doesn’t mind re-running it, so neither do I!)

I am happee I found your blog. I am a brit who moved to america in the teens and now moving to London. You have fab taste in music and I am loving readin about all ure foodi yum yums. Got accepted into a school there but I will be doing a test run first. Anywho…don’t usully do blog commenting but fanx for your blog!
